A versatile building material that can be used in either commercial or residential construction projects, limestone is considered an affordable solution. Limestone quarries can be found around the world, including very large ones in the United States. Most limestone is softer and less dense than granite and more homogeneous in appearance. We carry a full line of limestones from Portugal, as well as the very well-known Jura Beige and Jura Grey limestones from Germany. All are excellent materials for countertops as well as all flooring applications. An interesting feature of some limestone is that they can have actual fossils throughout the slab. These fossils can be millions of years old.
